LEARNING OBJECTIVES: When you have completed this chapter, you will be able to do the following: 1. Describe the characteristics of the fuels commonly handled by the Aviation Boatswain Mate Fuels. 2. Describe the problems caused by fuel contamination. State the types and limits of fuel contaminants. 3. Describe the specific types of fuel samples taken by the ABF and explain proper sampling procedures.
