At least it does until she sends Hosanni home with the free-spirited, unreligious enemy prince that Marezza forgot to mention she was married to on paper. The main character, Verity, is a strong female protagonist. Author Andrea Graham masterfully builds a world and plot where Verity grows into a new woman, and at the same time intertwines the truth of the gospel with an innovative approach.
