Reseña del libro "Deceit & Lies in the Legion of Christ, Regnum Christi Federation: Revised, Abbreviated Original version of Our Father Maciel who art in Bed (en Inglés)"
This story of life before, during and after the Legion of Christ Catholic religious order was first published in 2008 as "Our Father Maciel who art in Bed", the same time the author was being sued by the Legion of Christ for "stealing and misusing Legion private and copyright materials". Friends said the lawsuit was to prevent that publication, but perhaps the institution just wanted to punish and threaten the opposition. Like any autobiography, the book had gone through several drafts. One of them was called "The Thirty Lies of the Legion of Christ", where notes had been inserted to point out instances of where the Legion and its superiors had purposely deceived and mistreated members. Now that the Legion, Regnum Christi has morphed into the Regnum Christi Federation, the first publication has morphed into an earlier version with a new name, presenting a number of abuses for the reader's consideration. Institution supporters will doubtlessly claim all manipulation and deceit have miraculously disappeared and that all is well in Camelot. St. John tell us to "Test the spirits..."
