Some of us are predisposed to avoid new things and challenges, which places great limitations on who we are, or for the young, who we will become. Like I said it is not really a military book, but a narrative about what that environment brings out in people. Some is very good and some not so good. Boot camp is a strange and wondrous place for someone who is out in the world on their own for the first time. It is a place of stress, hard work and turmoil. It is also a place of learning. Not just about the military things. It is a place of learning about people. So come with me and learn what I learned. Why people are the way they are.
