Reseña del libro "Journeys with Wolves and Lambs: Living with Surprises, Tension, Conflict and Purpose (en Inglés)"
Journeys with Wolves and Lambs is all about perspectives on life as lived by the author, with all its contradictions, conflicts and confusion. It is about making sense of some of life's uncertainties and even imponderables in a context in which fact, faith and feeling are not easily separated and in which life's decisions must be made based on a weighing of all three. The author in plain and compelling language takes us through his tensions about the place of faith and science in his life as a young Christian, about his struggle to make sense of creation and evolution as two pillars of truth, his conflict over where to reside and work, in the first or third world, and the push and pulls he encountered in deciding to give up his career in academia for the more uncertain but challenging work in the public and business spheres. The author also engages the reader in discussions about generational gaps and linkages and about his experiences in discovering his roots in Africa where, as he says, he had to go back to go forward. As a citizen of two worlds, the kingdoms of God and of this world, Dr Wade finds no conflicts but several inherent tensions in his life purpose. He clearly demonstrates from his own experiences that wolves and lambs can indeed live together, when "the earth is full of the knowledge of the Lord".
