Kyle Curtland Jr. (better known as Junior) is ready for another regular summer in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Now he has an absolute chance to study his favorite skill, mathematics, and explore a wide array of career options. Though it seems like the opportunity of a lifetime, Junior worries if going to college is the right choice. With a strained relationship with his father, growing troubles with The Bank$ Bruthaz, and his possible paternity of a child, Junior must decide where his true loyalty lies. As the summer progresses, he meets new people and gains new experiences. Junior soon learns that there is life outside of his ordinary hood and a chance at a brighter future. It is one violent Saturday night in the heart of the city that motivates this intelligent young man to move forward on a journey that will change his life for the better.
