Workbook 2 provides handwriting practice and extra practice of the material in Student Book 2. Using fun exercises, children can further understand and apply the math skills they have covered in Student Book 2. At the bottom of the workbook pages, the corresponding Student Book pages are indicated. The last page of the workbook provides a more challenging exercise for the more able children; addition by carrying over. Level 2 Student Book covers: I- Math skills: -Revision of level 1 math -Counting to 100 -Reading and Writing to 100 -Addition up to 30 -Subtraction below 10 -Adding and subtracting money -Shapes II- Cognitive skills are developed using several types of exercises such as: -Revision of level 1 cognitive skills -Patterns -Counting in tens -Find the differences -Join the dots -Put in order -Match and circle -Add or subtract and then color -Write the missing number III- Built in revision Using an up-to-date teaching methodology, the series develops children's self evaluation and learner autonomy via two assessment pages at the end of the book. While this series follows a methodical system in teaching math to children, it is not the method that appeals to them but rather the fun they have using it. The series uses enjoyable, real life activities to teach basic math skills. It is also easy for parents and teachers to use. Enjoy!
