Nations rise and fall, but it's the people who decide whether the nation can be saved or let it become a victim of history. This novel is based on the idea of what one man can do when a culture gets so desperate after depending on a system that doesn't work for them anymore. With ideas so radical, this new president rips apart all the fundamentals that made the United States a great place to be. His ambitions have created a division that has effectively broken the nation and a resistance has formed. Things changed however when the men and women of the United States military stand against the president and his agenda. Fearing the consequences of a new civil war that could destroy the nation, a compromise was struck. The United States would have two sections, the Union which would be controlled by the current president and the Restricted Zones where a new government will be formed. The United States would continue trade but no longer have to abide by each other's rules. It's a fragile peace that has succeeded in keeping the country from falling into the horror of another civil war. Something has come now to threaten that peace and the threat of civil war rising to an all-time high. When a soldier of the Restricted Zones and an officer of the Union realize that there is a third party at work to destroy the peace, they rush to stop the ones responsible and save millions. They soon find that even though they are divided when it comes to personal views and beliefs, they are united by their love for the country as a whole. This mystery reveals plans that have been put into motion for years and will come full circle by the end of the novel. In the end, two different people will prove that just because they don't agree with one another, they're still united.
