There are touches of their big moments and an attempt to portray who they were as individuals, not just as sport's giants. Walter Payton is a legendary running back for the Chicago Bears, Michael Jordan was probably the best basketball player ever, and Muhammad Ali was the most exciting boxer ever. Three super athletes. The book is written in play form and is probably very well suited to be a staged reading. If you like sports, this book is for you. Easy to understand and captures the drama of the events. I started as a sports writer for five years, so these guys are right up my alley. Almost super-human. When they were at their peaks, no one could match up with them.
