Reseña del libro "Pissed and Broke, No. 6: A Commemorative Reissue (en Inglés)"
This is a republication of an old punk fanzine I used to run in the late '70s and early '80s. Although it had a very limited print run, there still seems to be some demand for it, especially since it was the first proper punk mag from Bournemouth. This one, No. 6, was probably the most important historically as it features Crass who were due to play at Bournemouth Town Hall in August 1980. The concert was pulled at the last minute, but Crass still had the decency to turn up and fraternize with the punks. This is a document of that event. Along with the usual features, there is an interview with the local band Intestines, and some major names like Discharge, Athletico Spizz 80, Flux of Pink Indians, etc., with additional material. When it was first produced it was a cheap, poorly written and ineptly put together photocopied mag with one staple in the top left-hand corner. This commemorative reissue had been overhauled and enhanced and is what it would have looked like if we had the proper facilities in those days. It should be thought of as a time-capsule, of that time when it was great to be young and to be part of something we all believed in. Enjoy.
