My first poetry book, VIGNETTES, sold out very quickly! I have written many more poems and rediscovered other poems hidden away for a number of years. This book includes all my favorite poems and my new material, along with the stories of how the writing came about. I've also included some material written for a specific occasions of happy times and celebrations. "Poetic license", which uses bits and pieces of ideas and thoughts while embroidering around the edges of truths, has been used some. I begin with my perceived truth then added, altered, imagined, and fabricated the remainder. Please, don't assume everything I have written is literal in every detail! I have chosen the title of this book to be REMEMBRANCE & OTHER POEMS. I think "Remembrance" is my BEST poem! My autobiography, "THE FIRST 87 YEARS", has more details about my life. I am deeply appreciative of family and friends, who have encouraged me through the years. I have placed the poems into subject areas to make them easier to locate. Please--enjoy the poetry of my life.
