Author Sam Wilder can attest to this, having served in ministry for over thirty years and gave his life to Christ while at a youth retreat at age fifteen. Every step of his journey, Sam has seen that God has directed his steps to help encourage others, especially churches, in their own walks of faith with God. He expands this personal ministry of his through his latest book, Streams of Grace: Where the Mind and Heart are Free to Wonder. Within the pages are stories, from the author and others, Scripture verses, and inspiring quotes from recognized names who have also embarked on this journey with God. Discussion questions and prayers are also listed within each segment to offer more interactive tools for readers and their journeys. Sam hopes that as readers go through each segment in the book, God's grace and beauty in everyday life can be viewed with fresh eyes and a perspective in knowing God is always present and can help us through any circumstance. Nothing is more resounding to Sam right now than the truth of God's grace and provision, as he recently was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and has had to step down from being a pastor to focus on his health. However, his change in ministry doesn't mean his call to share the gospel has, which is what many will understand after reading Streams of Grace. With each obstacle in life that we must get through, we are also given the opportunity to see God emerge in those situations and share this with others of how God's grace always shines through.
