In the Short Story, Star Killers follow the quest of Marshal "Zeke" Rawlings to find the outlaws that killed his brother. It is both exciting and poignant. The ending is something not to be missed. Also by John W. Heird, and available on Kindle is, Trail of Tears, A Full Theatrical Screenplay in book form. It is a dramatic portrayal of one of the greatest American tragedies: The forced removal and relocation of the Cherokee Nation to the Indian Territory in 1836.
