When they encounter the end result of a battle and their parents go missing, Stark is determined to find them. However, fellow clan member Drake won't let Stark go at it alone. He asks Stark to bring along Drake's daughter, a vampire who is a tracker, and also very attractive. Will this break Stark's concentration or will he find and save his parents? And finally, in a different story, Terry finds herself having to work alongside a police officer who is not a vampire like her. They wind up saving each other's lives, but when her family finds out, they are skeptical about him not going out and telling the whole world about their existence. What will they do about him now?
