All the cards are pictured, named, and explained. Matching games, memory games, and games of chance and skill, can be played without regard for meaning, but the meaning is always there to be discovered and appreciated.The book and the unique playing card puzzle it's about are archived in the Playing Card Museum of France in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
