The term eventually became synonymous with all of the African American regiments formed in 1866" There regiments were the 9th Cavalry Regiment, the 10th Cavalry Regiment, the 24th Infantry Regiment and the 25th Infantry Regiment. The 'Buffalo Soldiers' were the first peacetime all-black regiments in the regular U.S. Army established by Congress . On September 6, 2005, Mark Matthews, the last living Buffalo Soldier, died at the age of 111." Now a new group of blacks have evolved to take the place of the original Buffalo Soldiers to keep the peace in a new day and age, when mankind's enemy has evolved from the simple enemy soldiers and terrorist to a bread of super villains that mankind has never seen the likes of before. These groups of black superheroes are known as the Buffalo Super Soldiers.
