Many take the ChristMark just in case the prophecies are true. But will that have even worse consequences? And just where the hell in the Bible did it say the saved would wear any mark at all? Well, besides in those stupid Left Behind books anyway? This isn't the Rapture. This is something much more bizarre. This is Pascal's Wager at gunpoint, and it won't turn out like the believers predict.
