Now married to Onyirinnaya- Iheoma's brother, Onyirinnaya refuses to adhere the stern warnings of his sister's ghost to kill his wife after discovering the sudden changes in her husband's behaviour, coupled with the films they watched that recapped the atrocity and brutality she committed years ago with her sister. Elizabeth later murders her husband before Lucy, the ageing parent. In the attempt to avenge her son's death, the old woman is squarely dashed to the ground, and in the endeavour to hide the little babe, who would subsist the family lineage, Lucy is also fatally stabbed.
