As the two grow closer, Jake finds himself drawn between two worlds, and unable to reconcile them both - his growing affection for Miko is balanced by an opposing concern that if she ever learns his true nature, she will only see a monster - a bakemono. As his time begins to run short, and he faces the reality of heading back to the States, will he find the courage to tell Miko how he feels about her? And what will the consequences be if she ever learns his true identity?
