This is a growing problem that organized businesses/groups are using to generate sales of inferior quality books that, especially with distilling, can be very dangerous for the user. They contain a great deal of incorrect information that oftentimes appears to be copied from some unknown internet sources.Things to look for when selecting a distilling book: 1. A newly published book that has hundreds of 5 star reviews in a matter of a few weeks.2. A book with no contact information. No publisher or author address, email, or phone number - they don't want you to contact them.3. An author's name that cannot be found on the internet. They often use fictitious author names.4. Fake reviews. Sometimes you can tell they are fakes by reading them. There is an app you can download called "Fakespot" that uses AI to determine if a book has fake reviews. I have used it and it seems quite accurate.* All of my distilling books are authentic works based on my distilling experience and research over the past 15 years.
