Zora Zora is ready to teach her family (and the young reader) the importance of making healthy choices. Zora shows by example how to eat healthy, play healthy and stay healthy. The Older Sister The older sister is ready to learn all about staying healthy! Zora makes sure she is making good decisions along with her sister and brother. Zora isn't going to let them sit in front of the TV or have too many snacks! The Younger Sister The younger sister is getting older! She is growing because she is eating healthy, being active and sleeping well. The Baby Brother Zora Stays Healthy introduces the newest member of Zora's family, the baby brother. Zora looks over the baby brother and makes sure he is keeping up with them in their quest to stay healthy! The Parents The parents play such an important role in the children's healthy lifestyle! They help Zora teach the children to make healthy decisions. The parents make healthy meals, take them to the doctor, make sure everyone is hydrated among other things in their daily lives that keep them healthy. From the Author Zora has been such a special part of my life since the day she came home with us. We had the pick of the litter with 11 puppies to choose from. However, Zora is really the one who chose us! She was the one puppy biting at our feet and running around the room when we went to visit the litter. We knew immediately she was our puppy! Zora had our full attention for a couple years and then learned to share after we had our children. Zora spent countless hours with me as I fed and rocked my children in the late night and early morning hours. I found myself writing about my four-legged companion during this time beginning with rhymes about how she came to be a part of my life. This led to the Zora book series! Young children will love the rhyming story line along with the vibrant illustrations. I know my children do! The Author Amanda Lowney is originally from and currently resides in Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Amanda currently enjoys the privilege of being a stay at home mom to her three amazing children. Amanda has always loved writing and decided to make it a career shortly after the arrival of her first daughter. In addition to being an author, mom and proud dog owner, Amanda enjoys baking sweets for her family and tending her modest backyard garden.
